Member of Parliament for Truro and Falmouth Cherilyn Mackrory is to take part in a charity walk for Endo UK as part of the ‘Walk for Endo’ campaign.
Endometriosis devastates the lives of women and their families. One in ten women endure unrelenting pain that affects every aspect of their lives each day. That’s over 1.5 million women who desperately need support and information to help them understand this chronic condition.
Endo UK provides vital support services, reliable information and a community for those affected by endometriosis.
Walk for Endo sees supporters of Endo UK walking 7.5km to represent the average 7.5 years that it takes to be diagnosed with endometriosis.
Cherilyn said:
“I am delighted to be walking 7.5km in August to support the good work of Endo UK and help raise awareness of this devastating condition.”
“I was shocked to hear that it takes on average 7.5 years to diagnose endometriosis and will also be working with Endo UK to change this.”
“I look forward to taking part in the walk to raise awareness and funds for Endo UK.”
